Cabin Connect

Privacy

Cabin Connect privacy policy

Effective date: 2026-10-20

Cabin Connect does not collect, store or share personal data with the developer or any third party.

What the app does not do

Data stored on your device

Game progress, scores and preferences are stored locally on your device only. The developer cannot see them.

Nearby play and chat

Nearby play is optional and works only while the app is open on screen. When you join or open a nearby room, the name you type, your moves and any room-chat messages are sent directly from device to device over your local network, using Apple's Network.framework with Bonjour for discovery. They are not sent to any server and are not stored anywhere except on the devices in that room. Room members can mute, block or report other members in the room, and a room can remove a member.

If you choose to report a message, the email you send includes your gamer tag, the room name and up to 280 characters of the message, sent by you to support@cabinconnect.studio; we do not receive anything automatically.

Local Network permission

The Local Network permission is used only to find and connect to other devices running Cabin Connect. If you decline it, every solo game still works.

Children

Cabin Connect is not made for kids' category use and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal data at all. Nearby room chat is between people in the same room on your local network; please see the age rating shown on the App Store listing and supervise younger players accordingly.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and all locally stored data is removed. There is nothing to delete on any server because nothing is stored on one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
